Hello girls and boys! How are you today? Today is Friday and this is our last lesson before Spring Break, so we are going to do a little review of what we have studied in unit 8.


  1.   REVIEW: VOCABULARY ABOUT FILMS/MOVIES.

Hello guys! And welcome to April! Today we begin a new month and as you can see the weather and the landscape are changing because spring is also here! Fun!

1.     In this unit, we are learning about types of films. What is your favourite type of film? Ask and tell your family ( if they don´t speak English you can do it in Spanish).

ENGLISH LESSON FOR MONDAY 30th of MARCH

UNIT 8: WHAT´S FUN ABOUT AFTER-SCHOOL CLUB?

1.  Open your English notebook on a new page and write the date and the title of this new unit.

2.  In this unit we are going to learn about different types of films/movies. Watch this video to obtain some info about this topic.


3.  Play with your family! Watch this video and guess the type of film. You have these options:


ACTION – COMEDY – SCI-FI - HORROR- ADVENTURES – DRAMA –MUSICAL  - FANTASY – MELODRAMA OR ROMANTIC - HISTORY -

4.       Now, go to your Class Book on page 88 and read the vocabulary on exercise 3. Read these words 3 times.


5.       Open now your Activity Book on page 81 and do exercise 1 and 2

ENGLISH LESSON FOR FRIDAY 27th
Hello boys and girls! Today we are going to finish this unit and we are going to do a very simple activity from your Class Book to close this unit.

1.     Today´s activity is about shopping. So let´s start the lesson watching a short video about shopping.

2.       Open your Class Book on page 78 and read the text.

3.       Go now to exercise 3 and, in your English notebook, copy the questions and answer to these questions with complete sentences.

4.       Finally, go to page 79 and do exercise 4. Ask your family to complete this exercise.
 Wonderful job today guys! So, this unit is finished now and we will start a new unit on Monday.

Hello boys and girls! How are you doing? Did you have a good weekend? I hope so! I know that staying at home all the time is very hard and difficult but it is necessary now ;) 

Well, remember to correct your homework. I sent you the answers to your parents´e-mail. Did you correct your activities?
Finally, remember that if you do your homework in your digital Activity Book on BLINK, you don´t need to do it in your class Activity Book ;)
Ok, this is your work for today:


1. Open your Class Book on page 82. Let´s review "How much-how many". Read exercise 3.

Watch this video. Let´s remember the things that we can count and what we cannot count.


2. Go now to your Activity Book on page 118 and do lesson 5. (You can use your digital Activity Book in you have registered on BLINK).

3. Let´s go now to your Class Book on page 83. Look at the different food on the picture. Read. 

ORALLY:
QUESTION: Which of this food do you eat?
ANSWER: I normally eat....
QUESTION: What is your favourite food? Why?
ANSWER: My favourite food is...... because..... and it has got vitamin....

3. Open now your Activity Book on page 74 and do exercises 1, 2, 3 and 4. (If you have your digital Activity Book you can listen to activity 2).

4. Voluntary exercise: Create your own pizza! Class Book page 82 exercise 4. Read the example and write in your notebook which ingredients you need to make your favourite pizza. You can make this pizza with your family for dinner! :)

6. Let´s finish the lesson singing a song to practice "how many".

SCIENCE WORK AT HOME

Hello guys! How are you today? We hope that all of you are great and that you had a good Easter break. Today, we finish our work with unit 3. 

In this post you have two things: 
1.  A KAHOOT game that is obligatory for you. 
 2.A video with a voluntary project for you.

- NOTA A LOS PADRES: la sesión de hoy es de cierre del tema 3. Aquí tienen dos actividades: una obligatoria, que es un juego de KAHOOT donde tienen que responder a unas preguntas sobre el tema y para el que tienen una fecha límite de realización (el domingo 19 a las 20h). Para acceder al juego tienen que poner un "nickname" que será su nombre, apellido y clase. Y en segundo lugar un vídeo donde les explicamos dos opciones para hacer un proyecto voluntario del tema visto (en caso de realizarlo, sólo escogerán una opción y nos la enviarán por correo electrónico). La fecha límite para realizar y entregar éste proyecto voluntario es el próximo jueves 23 de abril.
