SCIENCE WORK AT HOME

SCIENCE 4º A, 4º B AND 4ºC

THURSDAY 16th of APRIL

Hello guys! How are you today? We hope that all of you are great and that you had a good Easter break. Today, we finish our work with unit 3. 

In this post you have two things: 
1.  A KAHOOT game that is obligatory for you. 
 2.A video with a voluntary project for you.

This is the obligatory game:
To access this game you need to write your name, surname and class: for example: Sergio Maya 4A

- NOTA A LOS PADRES: la sesión de hoy es de cierre del tema 3. Aquí tienen dos actividades: una obligatoria, que es un juego de KAHOOT donde tienen que responder a unas preguntas sobre el tema y para el que tienen una fecha límite de realización (el domingo 19 a las 20h). Para acceder al juego tienen que poner un "nickname" que será su nombre, apellido y clase. Y en segundo lugar un vídeo donde les explicamos dos opciones para hacer un proyecto voluntario del tema visto (en caso de realizarlo, sólo escogerán una opción y nos la enviarán por correo electrónico). La fecha límite para realizar y entregar éste proyecto voluntario es el próximo jueves 23 de abril.

4th ACTIVITY BOOK: exercise 7 from page 16 and exercises 8 and 9 from page 17.
5th Sing the song! (To sing the karaoke version watch the teachers’ video or go to the Digital Activities Resource)
6th Use the DIGITAL ACTIVITIES RESOURCE!: You can do these activities as many times as you want! You will learn and enjoy! Here you can see the activities that are related to the Living things unit:
·       CLASSIFICATION: It’s the 2nd activity (Kingdoms of living things)
·       COMPLETE THE TEXT: It’s the 2nd activity (Kingdoms of living things)
·       LABELLING: We will not use it in this unit.
·       MEMORY GAME: They are the 3rd and 5th activities (Living things and Living things 2)
·       READ AND REVEAL: It’s the 1st activity (Living things).
·     REORDER: They are the 1st and the 4th activities (Living things and Life processes of living things)
·       SONGS: They are the 1st and the 6th songs (Living things and Does it need food?)
        WORDSEARCH: We will not use it in this unit.

1. Open your Class Book on page 35 and read/listen to the BIG IDEA.

2. REVIEW: 
- Open your Class Book on page 38 and read. 
- Open your Activity Book on page 15 and do activities 3, 4 and 5.
- Watch now video 4.
- Open your Class Book on pages 40 and 41 and read/listen.

3. Open your Class Book on page 45 and do exercises 2 and 3 in your notebook. 
(Correct when you finish: 1. a)Protist. b)Animal. c) Fungi. d)Plant. e) Monera. 2. Unicellular/water/cannot/some/consumer.

4. HOMEWORK for next day: Worksheet "Living things and non-living things".
